JESTEELEConsulting advises organizations, both profits and non-profits, on how to strategically develop and engage a diverse global workforce. In managing change and growth in today's complex and integrated world, dealing with human differences among both employees as well as the client base can require navigating through significant challenges to realize the infinite opportunities.

The workplace is a microcosm of the greater society. Social stimuli and cultural cues often transmitted unconsciously both inside and outside  of an organization affect interpersonal interactions. These attitudes and behaviors impact how individuals get included which influences performance and thus, organizational effectiveness.

Understanding the role of power in dealing with group dynamics is also essential. We are all individuals and each of us have multiple group memberships some of which are dominant (non-target) and others being subordinate (target) depending on many social, economic, political,  historic, and psychological factors. Hence, our approach focuses on building equitable, authentic and quality relationships in organizational systems considering 4 levels of existence - 

  • Personal (values and beliefs)
  • Interpersonal (behaviors)
  • Institutional (policies,practices, and procedures - both written and unwritten)
  • Cultural. (norms for beauty, right, and truth)

We provide tools  and work related applications to effectively learn how to recognize, understand, and appreciate differences in oneself as well as in other individuals integrating each of these levels.
